It’s Here! It’s what everyone has been asking about for ages. The Makita DMR112 Jobsite Radio has built-in DAB (and DAB+) as well as Bluetooth! This is a first for Makita. Never before have they packed DAB and Bluetooth into one unit.
So, when you’re on the site you’ll have the best of both worlds. Play your own tunes by wirelessly connecting your mobile device to the radio, or play the tunes off the radio using the DAB+ signal.
Equipped with Bluetooth Class 2, you’ll be able to play sounds from your phone from up to 10 meters away! And with both DAB and DAB+, you’ll never be short of a selection of radio channels to choose from.
This radio will plug into the mains or can be powered by either your LXT or CXT lithium-ion batteries. When you’ve got your 18V battery installed you’ll get an output of 4.9 watts x2 from the dual 89mm speakers. That’s pretty loud!
Coming in at 4.9kg with an 18 volt battery installed, it’s an easy piece of kit to cart around the site. It’s also very durable and meets IP64 standards from water ingress and dust.
